Ready to continue

Time flies when you are having fun! Going in tomorrow to get the second and final dose of round 3 of chemo. Have had fatigue and nausea but certaintly better than the Houston treatment. At least I can get out when I want. Have some meds that help some with the nausea. Biggest problem is the swelling in my legs - have to keep them up - when down they swell, get red and hurt, makes walking a trial. They are cautious about blood clots so do not want to wrap them or pump my lower legs yet.

Had visit from Michelle and girls overnight last night and glad to see them. Would like to catch one of Jaden's ballgames yet this week if able - she is playing in national tourney. Will try to be more reliable in keeping this blog up. Thanks again for all the prayers. Cheryl

  2. Hi Cheryl and Ron!
Good to hear from you, Cheryl. Hope the second treatment goes well. I would like to get to Washington on Saturday for the Relay for Life team with Shelly, but I'm not sure Grandma's car will make it that far! We picked some corn and tomatoes today from the garden. There are still a lot of green tomatoes left. Hope you will be able to get some of them to eat!! Take care and please know you are in our thoughts and prayers!
    Love you much,
    Barb
