It's Monday....Hospital day

Well, here it is, Monday has arrived and it's gonna be time to go back into the hospital this afternoon. We had a good time yesterday going to the bank - yes on Sunday even. It's inside of the local grocery store. Although dad didn't open the account yesterday, he is doing it right now as mom and I are sitting at home getting showers and getting ready for the day.

After the bank yesterday, we set out to find an Applebee's. Unfortunately, according to the guy I stopped in the grocery store parking lot, there are NO Applebee's in Houston anymore. So, since dad knew where the Golden Coral was, and we could get a nice round meal there, that's where we went. It was pretty good and we met some nice people there, they had an eight month old baby I couldn't resist.

After eating, we stopped by the video store and I got a couple movies. "YES Man" and "Bride Wars". We stayed up late again to watch both of them. After that it was bills time. Mom always said that I like to spend other people's money and neither one of them wanted to write the checks!

Well, that's about all of the update I can give. We have got our bags semi packed for the hospital. I will be staying with mom, as I would be too scared to stay here by myself anyway. I always have been a chicken.

Thanks for all the continued thoughts and prayers! Stacey

  3. The generosity of people never ceases to amaze me Cheryl. My friend Pam Cochrane who has lived at the Methodist parsonage the past 2-3 years and has now moved to Topeka told me that if you guys need help cleaning or painting the house in Soldier to help you get in it sooner she is volunteering her labor. You truly have touched lives and this is just another example of it! Hope the chemo is going well. Will check in tonight.
