A day of rest

Cheryl was tired after her day of tests but told me she had not slept well. Finally this morning she was able to sleep better. We haven't done anything yet today and probably won't. It's just good to be at the apartment and nothing that has to be done. Maybe we'll be more energetic on Sunday. The 4th will be quiet for us. Hope everyone has a safe holiday. Ron

  1. Happy 4th~~As you can imagine it has been such a crazy time here. Farrel had a "come and go" 70th birthday party last night. Lots of folks came around and it was lots of fun! Phyllis even made it out for a while. Of course Ruth made the best home-made ice cream in the county and there was plenty for everyone (even those Holliday boys!) The grandkids sang and "fun was had by all!" Ruth and Farrel are going to John Schafer's for dinner tonight before the big fireworks party. It rained yesterday and thismorning but looks like it will be dry for the party....I am hoping the clouds will make it be dark earlier (getting older and wanna go to bed earlier!) I am so glad to hear that you are having a restful day together and that Cheryl is doing well. We are in constant prayer that the test results will be what we all want them to be and that you will have enough information to make a good decision on the next step. Take Care of each other, watch fireworks on TV and have a great evening! with love, Laura

  2. Hi Guys!
Happy 4th of July! It sounds like yours will be quiet like mine. It is so hot here, I didn't even go out tonight to watch, but did see the Capitol Fourth on PBS. We had lunch with Scott and Becky, Steve and Cheyenne will be over tomorrow to go swimming at the Rec center. It is suppose to be 109--ugh!! Can't wait to get to Soldier where it should be a bit cooler!! I will be praying that the blood clot goes the same way it came--quietly and quickly and also for the news that you can come back to KC soon! Hang in there and keep on believin'. . . Barb
