To the ER

Mom received two units of blood last night along with five units of platletts in the transfusion center. We had arrived at 3 pm and left at 11 pm. It was long day but mom was able to sleep in a bed while getting the blood. She has continued to run a low fever so this morning we are going to the ER for IV anitbiotics. Her lungs are still filled with fluid and giving her some pain. Eating has not been easy, in fact some popcicles and a little ice cream is all she can swallow. We have been crushing her meds in the popcicle for her. Will keep everyone updated. Michelle
